The Qualified Medication Aide class offered by All Hearts Training Services, LLC (AHTSLLC) in Indianapolis, IN provides students with the knowledge and skills to safely and accurately administer medication to patients in long-term care facilities. The course includes instruction in medication administration, medical terminology, and patient care skills. Upon completion of the class, students will be eligible to take the state certification exam and become a Qualified Medication Aide.
A Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who has completed more training in order to be able to give medication to patients. QMA programs require that you already have your CNA license and may have additional requirements on top of that.
