We believe everyone deserves a career they’re passionate about

Our mission
We help Americans find their purpose—and everything they need in order to get there.

Our story
When Athena was growing up, her family needed electrical work done but it was too expensive! So, her dad bought a test prep book, and in just a few months of studying night and weekends, he transformed from someone who needed an electrician to becoming one.
Years later at Harvard, Athena met Shiroy, who had taught students struggling with traditional four-year paths. They talked to hundreds of people and kept hearing the same thing: "I want to change careers, but..." But it's too risky. But I don't know where to start. But what if I pick wrong? Most people stayed stuck in jobs they hated because making a change felt impossible.
Athena and Shiroy had a vision of being the place for people to navigate any career change. They cold-called every school in Indiana until they landed their first partner. Athena trained as an apprentice plumber, took a caregiving course, and became a temporary nurse aide during the pandemic.
Today, we partner with hundreds of schools nationwide and have helped millions of Americans start new futures.
