Esthetics/Nail Technician

Successful completion of the program leads to the award of a diploma. Graduates must complete a minimum of 300 hours of instruction in esthetics and a minimum of 200 hours in nail technician training. After completing all classes, graduates are eligible to take the licensing exams for both esthetics and nail technology through the State Board of Cosmetology. Licensure is mandatory in Pennsylvania.

Cosmetology

Program Overview:

The Cosmetology diploma program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue entry-level positions in the cosmetology industry including hair styling, hair shaping, hair coloring, manicuring, skin care, chemical services, and salon management. Through both theoretical instruction and practical applications, students learn from licensed instructional staff. They also gain hands-on experience in the school’s full-service cosmetology clinic under supervision. Graduates are prepared for roles such as Cosmetologist, Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Nail Technician, and Assistant/Receptionist in salons or spas.

Credential Awarded:

Upon completion of the program, graduates receive a diploma. After accumulating a minimum of 1,250 instructional hours and successfully completing the program, graduates are eligible to take the Cosmetology license exam administered by the State Board of Cosmetology. Licensure is mandatory in Pennsylvania.
