The computer-aided drafting course introduces students to the basic concepts of AutoCAD. You will become familiar with the workspace, fundamentals, and principles of design. As you build your skills, you will interpret and apply drawing terms and definitions, learn to draw and modify objects, and create sectional views meeting professional standards.
Special Education Paraprofessionals work closely with teachers and administration in ensuring students receive the educational attention they need to succeed. Certification/credential is attainable upon the successful completion of this course and other specified documentation. An enthusiastic, well-prepared paraprofessional can greatly increase the efficiency in the classroom. This online class is an 18-week course, providing an in-depth understanding of medical coding and billing practices, utilizing the textbook “3-2-1 Code It!” (12th Edition) and Cengage MindTap for interactive learning. Students will learn the fundamentals of coding, including ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.
This program is designed for the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) who want to acquire certification to distribute medication to residents in healthcare facilities such as nursing homes. Students receive training in administering medications, observing, reporting, and documenting resident’s status. This class does not include insulin, gastric, or respiratory. Prerequisites: (Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) Title 310 Ch 677) 18 years of age or older, High school diploma or GED, Current CNA-LTC, Home Health, or Developmentally Disabled Direct Care through the OSDH with no abuse notations, Worked at least six (6) full months as a CNA. State and federal regulations require that you maintain an 80% average on all quizzes and exams. Students must attend 48 hours of class, lab, and clinical rotation. Clinical hours may vary. Clinical hours are mandatory.

Upon completion, you will leave the class with a basic plan that can be enhanced and expanded to fit your business and individual needs and implement them on the farm.

Together with determination and hard work, good planning is essential to the success of a new or expanding business. A thorough plan is an important tool to help guide your decisions. Think of it as a roadmap to success…providing greater clarity in all aspects of your business, from marketing and finance to operations and products. While it is tempting to jump directly from a great idea into startup mode or to expand a business without a plan, intentional planning is crucial in assessing the viability of a business. Planning out your steps creates the necessary focus to stay on track with measurable goals and timelines. So, if you have a great idea or are wanting to expand on a good thing, building a business plan can be a “make it or break it” asset to your business. This class is held one evening a week for three weeks. It allows you to work in an interactive “hands-on” setting with our consultants and other participants. You leave with a basic plan that can be enhanced and expanded to fit your business and individual needs.
This program prepares EMTs to use advanced life support skills such as patient intubation and IVs used in the pre-hospital emergency care setting. Must have current NREMT-EMT license and CPR-BLS. Class Schedule: Monday and Wednesday classes are on campus. Friday classes are virtual.

This class prepares you to sit for the Oklahoma State Unarmed Security Guard License. With successful completion of the exam and background check, you are ready to go to work protecting and monitoring properties against criminal attack or damage. Machining jobs are in high demand. This course covers aspects of basic machining principals. The primary machines used in machining are the engine lathe (metal lathe), milling machine (both horizontal and, most typically, vertical) and a drill press. These and other machines can be either manual or automated. Machinists work in prototyping new parts, on production lines, and in repair and maintenance facilities. In this course, you will be introduced on how to use a manual engine lathe and a vertical mill to make intricate, precise, and complex parts with a high degree of repeatable accuracy.

The CDA class offers a hybrid learning experience, combining on-campus and online elements. On Tuesdays, students attend in-person sessions, followed by flexible online assignments. Campus computers are available if needed. The CDA Pathway curriculum readies students for CDA requirements, and all 10 units can be taken in any order except Unit 10, which is the final step. Successful completion of all units qualifies students to sit for the CDA exam.

After successfully passing the skills and written certification exams, you will be listed on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry.
