The History curriculum is a university parallel Associate of Arts degree program preparing students for transfer, in accordance with the SUNY Transfer Path for History majors. SUNY Sullivan offers small classes, attention and concern for individual students, and a suggested sequence of courses are intended to help students acquire fundamental skills of studying, reasoning, and expression. Working with their faculty advisor, students will select courses that focus on American history, Western civilization and culture, non-Western Civilization and Culture, and an open history elective. The degree requires the completion of at least 7 of the 10 SUNY General Education requirements and at least 30 General Education credits. Students in the History major are encouraged to complete all 10 requirements. Besides completing the SUNY General Education requirements, graduates of the Liberal Arts & Sciences, AA: History Concentration will have demonstrated: The ability to think critically, A command of information and concepts from humanities, the social sciences, mathematics, and the sciences, The ability to examine major concepts and works from the field of history, An awareness of our diverse world, An understanding of sustainable actions as well as social and environmental responsibility, The ability to communicate their understanding in written and spoken form, The ability to perform and cite research in MLA format.

Earners of this badge have learned the basic concepts of Phlebotomy. Students acquired a comprehensive knowledge of Phlebotomy's theory, principles, and practice, including selection and use of instrumentation, asepsis, safety issues, laboratory information, legal issues, diagnostic tests, proper labeling, and transport of specimens. Students recognize the sites and medical conditions where venipuncture is contraindicated and demonstrate the skill to perform capillary and venipuncture draws.
Microcredentials are short, focused credentials designed to provide in-demand skills and experience in a particular field. SUNY Sullivan’s microcredentials are “stackable” — meaning, they can provide a pathway to a certificate or full degree, now or when you are ready. Microcredentials are groups of three to five courses that can be taken as a standalone program or you can stack them to create a pathway to earn a certificate or full degree. They are designed to help you quickly develop relevant skills to obtain employment or to enhance your skills to advance your career. Courses may be offered online and/or in-person depending on the microcredential program. As a student, enrolled in a microcredential program, you have access to SUNY Sullivan's academic support and campus resources.
This all-new, 3-tiered microcredential pathway program provides current Direct Support Professionals and those interested in joining the field with a clear path to earning national certification from the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP).
The AS Business Administration program provides a two-year program that transfers with a minimal loss of credit. This program is delivered 50% online. After successfully completing the requirements of the Business Administration (AS), a student should be prepared to: Demonstrate an understanding of management theories as they apply to a variety of functions within a business organization. Utilize research and communication skills for the preparation of various business presentations, reports and documents. Demonstrate the ability to think critically, solve problems, and make decisions independently. Use interpersonal skills to function effectively as a team member in evaluating business problems. Apply various business concepts and theories to business activities. Integrate the use of computers in a variety of business activities.
The Accounting AAS degree program integrates a thorough knowledge of accounting theory and concepts. It is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in private, public, and governmental accounting. Students learn how to use popular, commercial software packages. The faculty are business professionals, many holding MBA degrees.
CDL Training now available at SUNY Sullivan. The curriculum for both the Class A and Class B courses meets Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory requirements and prepares students for the required knowledge and skills tests to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.

Students who complete this program earn an Associate in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Childhood Education (Teacher Education Transfer) AA Degree, with a concentration in one of the following: Biology, Earth Science, History/Social Studies, Mathematics, or English. Faculty in this program emphasize the importance of general education and are committed to excellence in teaching, as well as to the curricular and career advisement of students. In accordance with the SUNY Teacher Education Transfer Template, this program is organized around three coordinated sets of courses: General education courses, to provide students with a deep, rich liberal educational foundation in the arts and sciences; Major course concentrations, designed to prepare students to teach within the New York State Common Core Curriculum and also to help students become strong advocates for that discipline’s subject matter in their teaching career; An integrated core of pedagogical courses intended to provide students with a set of individualized experiences through field observation and hands-on cooperative learning, enabling them to develop effective understandings in each instructional area.
The Liberal Arts and Sciences Associate of Arts degree program is a parallel curriculum preparing students for transfer to a four-year program. Required and elective courses are both transferable. The liberal arts place emphasis on questions more than specific answers. The courses focus upon ideas, languages, logic, and images of the world, of nature, and society.
Earners of this badge will be prepared to obtain a role in the culinary and baking industry with the foundational skills such as safe handling and preparation of food, kitchen safety, kitchen equipment functionality and product identification. After completing this program, students will be able to implement industry standards and understand the structure of a culinary operation; demonstrate the ability to utilize technology effectively in their area of study through daily practices, research and development, and problem solving; and utilize appropriate mathematical techniques such as weighing, measuring, and recipe conversion.
The CannaBusiness Management microcredential is designed to provide learners with the basic management skills needed to operate in an entry-level capacity in the cannabis industry covering topics that include the history of cannabis, seed to sale, licensure and compliance in NYS, and best practices for businesses through a combination of courses. This program provides training in many different business focused areas, ideal for both employed workers looking to upskill as well as students who want to earn a cannabis credit while on their way to a Business Administration AAS degree. Upon completion of this program, students will have gained the skills to successfully work in the cannabis industry as a manager or an employee, and will be able to employ a wide range of business skills needed to start and grow a successful cannabis business; students will also receive a Cannabis Retail badge.
Students will learn the basic principles of flying UASs (drones) and how to maintain and fly different flight systems. They will also learn basic troubleshooting techniques for ground control stations and UAS maintenance. Students will also practice a 'hands-on' approach to the use of exposure, composition, and editing, to make videos and photographs to be marketable for a variety of industries.

The Associate in Applied Science Hospitality and Tourism Management program offers a solid background in the Hospitality Industry. Courses in various areas of business, tourism, and hospitality services provide the students with the necessary skills to succeed in the corporate world. Each student is assigned a faculty advisor to assist in selecting the proper electives based on the student’s interests. Graduates are employed in many facets of the hospitality and tourism industry including hotels, spas, casinos, restaurants, country clubs, travel and tourism organizations, corporate dining facilities, and transportation companies. The Hospitality and Tourism Management AAS degree program offers transfer opportunities to four-year schools for those students in good academic standing.
The Green Building Technology, AAS, provides students with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to design, construct, operate and maintain sustainable buildings and renewable energy systems. The Program includes all aspects of sustainable building design, construction, operation and maintenance: building science principles; energy efficiency and renewable energy; green building products and materials; building automation and controls; sustainable landscaping and site selection; the LEED and Passive House building assessment systems; and life-cycle economic analysis. Many of the courses provide the knowledge to successfully pass industry certification such as; LEED GA, LEED AP or LEED SITES Initiative Coordinator and NABCEP PV Associate. In addition to learning the most current theories, students acquire hands-on training related to energy management, photovoltaic arrays, wind turbines, geothermal HVAC systems, and other components of high-performance residential and commercial buildings.

The Psychology program is designed to empower and affirm students through broad based training in the foundations of psychology. The program emphasizes the need to understand human behavior through critical thinking and scientific endeavors as well as the importance of practice that is informed by science. Students will study medical office administration and procedures as well as acquire the more specialized medical knowledge and skills needed to assist with many facets of patient care. The program culminates with the Medical Assisting Externship where students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a clinical setting.
