Our career training course is hands-on so that you gain the skills that employers are looking for! You can develop a wide range of handy skills—from carpentry, electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating to painting, tiling and appliance repair—needed to maintain and renovate homes, residential properties and commercial buildings. Orleans graduates can enter the field as a maintenance mechanic, handling site operations, in apartment complexes, health care facilities, and industrial establishments.

At Orleans Technical College, you can earn your Associate Degree in Specialized Business (ASB)-Construction Management in 15 months! This associates program is designed to prepare you for a wide variety of construction management careers. This program provides a comprehensive overview of construction managers’ roles during the building process. The program equips students with the technical skills to efficiently handle the full process of delivering a construction project to completion. Courses include: blueprint reading, estimating, business law, business/technical writing, scheduling, basic computer skills, Computer Aid Drafting (CAD), and related courses. This program is designed for students with 3-5 years of construction experience and who have interest in progressing within the construction sector. The 60 credit evening program is a hybrid schedule with online and in-person classes.
