At Orleans Technical College, you can earn your Trades Diploma in just 6 months and take the first step toward an exciting career in Carpentry. Our career training course is hands-on so that you gain the skills that employers are looking for! You’ll learn construction, installation, and renovation skills for an array of opportunities—inside and out—working with wood and other materials. Students experience building a house to scale, staircase, and full-size deck, as well as tackle framing, drywall, rough and fine finishing, siding, shingle roofing, and door and window installation.
