Students will receive instruction in setting up patient records, utilizing computerized practice management systems, and performing other essential tasks in the medical office environment. Additionally, students will learn the fundamentals of medical coding using CPT and ICD-10-CM codes, as well as the preparation and processing of various insurance claims.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a diploma to enter the workforce as Medical Office Billing Specialists.
