Program Overview:

The Medical Office Specialist program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level employment as medical office billing specialists. This comprehensive program provides training in the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to effectively function in the medical front office, whether in a hospital, medical clinic, or other healthcare setting. Students will receive instruction in setting up patient records, utilizing computerized practice management systems, and performing other essential tasks in the medical office environment. Additionally, students will learn the fundamentals of medical coding using CPT and ICD-10-CM codes, as well as the preparation and processing of various insurance claims.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a diploma to enter the workforce as Medical Office Billing Specialists.
