The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) program at West Shore Community College provides students with the knowledge and skills required for an entry-level nursing position. The curriculum combines hands-on clinical practice, classroom instruction, and simulation experiences to ensure graduates are well-equipped with the necessary competencies for providing high-quality patient care. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN), which is a mandatory step in obtaining an LVN/LPN license.
