Hands-on clinical work in a variety of health care settings in the community provides invaluable experience, offering opportunities for critical thinking and effective decision-making by the student nurse. Clinical students will be assigned day and evening shifts, and may have out-of-town travel. Second-year students may have to work some evening shifts or Saturdays.
