PCAs work in a homecare environment assisting individuals with daily activities such as using the bathroom, preparing and eating meals, executing good hygiene and grooming habits, taking medication, bathing and completing housework or other chores. 

Upon completion of this program, students will earn the following industry-recognized credentials/certificates: Personal Care Assistant Certificate, Dementia Care Certificate, American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid, CPR AED, Essential Job Skills Certificate, and the National Council for Mental Wellbeing Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certification.
