Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is an emergency procedure that combines chest compressions often with artificial ventilations. Rescue breathing provides oxygen to the person’s lungs. Chest compressions keep oxygen rich blood flowing until the heartbeat and breathing can be restored.

Technical Health Academy is a medical career training school in Orlando, Florida. It prepares students for work in entry-level medical fields through CPR / Basic Life Support, Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG), Medical Assistant, and Phlebotomy training. The academy’s programs are practical and preparatory, supporting students who seek outside certification and national certification examinations. Medical Assistant training relates to administrative work and support for physicians and other staff, while Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) training focuses on using electrocardiogram machines to test patients and provide information to doctors. Phlebotomy addresses blood collection from patients or donors for medical testing. The academy also identifies the American Heart Association among its partners.
