Patient Care Technician Program

Our program prepares students for an entry-level position as a Patient Care Technician (PCT). The emphasis is on cultivating the necessary technical skills to provide care to complex patients, under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.

Course Benefits

Duties of a Certified PCT

Certified PCTs assist doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care. Duties encompass basic patient care like feeding, bathing, moving patients, and changing linens.

Registration Requirements

  • Current Photo Identification

  • Social Security Card

  • US High School Diploma or GED

  • Pass Background Check

  • Pass Drug Screening

  • Health Care Provider CPR Certification

  • A negative Tuberculosis test not older than one year or x-ray not older than two years

  • Required Immunizations: Flu Shot (During Flu Season), Varicella, Tetanus/ Diphtheria, Measle / Mumps/ Rubella, Hepatitis B Vaccine
