Welcome to the Nurse Aide Hybrid Program at Teamwork Career Institute. This rigorous program prepares students to address the demands of Long Term Care patients and those recuperating from various medical illnesses.
The curriculum encompasses comprehensive classroom lectures, hands-on laboratory practice, and meaningful clinical environment exposure, fostering real-life application of acquired skills and knowledge.
Gather Required Documents: Assemble the necessary requirements, which include your Government Issued ID, Social Security, and High School Diploma/GED, to be used in the upcoming steps.
Submit Registration Form & Documents: Use our user-friendly online portal to upload your completed registration form along with the required documents. The process can also be completed in person.
Create Your Online Account: Establish your student online account by registering with a username and password. Do not register for any course until the required registration forms have been completed.
Pay Your Exam Fee: This fee can be paid either in person or online, with the latter being recommended for convenience.
Begin the Course! A welcome enrollment email will be sent upon processing your payment.
Receive Certificate: Upon passing the exam and course completion, a letter of completion will be dispatched to your email.

Our Basic Phlebotomy Program is tailor-made for individuals eager to dive into the healthcare field and those who wish to expand their skill set. The course equips you to work in a variety of settings, including skill laboratories, medical offices, clinics, and private laboratories.
Graduates of this program acquire a wide range of skills and may perform the following duties:
Venipunctures by vacutainer, butterfly, and syringe methods
Capillary blood collection
Basic electrocardiography interpretation
Infection control
Minor laboratory testing
Medical record documentation and data entry
This course is designed to meet the competencies required by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). All graduates are required to complete a certain number of venipunctures and sticks in a clinical setting prior to being presented for NHA certification.
Successful graduates can find employment in various settings such as hospitals, blood banks, doctor's offices, and home health agencies.
