The Emergency Medical Technician certification program offered by Tacoma Community College is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work as medical first responders. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training to prepare students for emergencies in both urban and rural settings. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam and become certified EMTs.
