The LVN/LPN license program at Rio Grande Valley College is designed to prepare students to become licensed vocational nurses who are able to provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The program includes both classroom instruction and clinical training, giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam and become licensed as LVNs/LPNs.
