The Radiologic Technology Program is a five-semester program offering an Associate of Science Degree. Students are educated in radiography equipment operations, production and evaluation of diagnostic radiographic images, patient care skills, radiation safety, and communication with healthcare professionals and the public. The program includes didactic, laboratory, and clinical education and prepares students for entry-level imaging positions. Upon completion, graduates are eligible for the national certification exam offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). ARRT certification provides eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts. Graduates can be employed by hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, orthopedic/physician offices, mobile imaging companies, and pain management centers.
