As of October 2022, CT state laws have changed for the better! Medical Assistants are now eligible to administer vaccines to patients. This is great news because this will allow for less patient wait times, advance clinical skills to medical staff, and increase the medical team’s patient productivity and satisfactory rates. CT State Law requires a 32 hour vaccine training that includes an 8 hour hands-on clinical lab for Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.
