Program Description

The EKG course at our institution is designed to train individuals in performing electrocardiogram tests, covering basic 12-lead EKGs and fundamental arrhythmias. Through hands-on training, students become familiar with the function and proper use of EKG machines, 12-lead placement, and interpretation. The curriculum also introduces students to the Holter Monitor procedure, a portable recording device worn by patients to monitor heart activity. EKG technicians play a crucial role in studying and forwarding results to physicians for diagnosing heart ailments, including rhythm abnormalities and issues with pacemakers.

National Exam Preparation
