Course Aims
Upon successful completion, you'll nab a certificate of completion and can go for National Certification through the American Education Certification Association (AECA). Not only that, but you'll also have the skills to be a top-notch phlebotomist/laboratory assistant, with potential to step up as a medical laboratory technician.
Dive into an engaging and informative training program that provides you with the necessary knowledge to respond effectively to injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive.
First Aid, Adult CPR, and AED Use: Gain hands-on experience in handling immediate health crises. The course meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines and Emergency Cardiovascular Care 2000 Guidelines.
Examinations: Written exams document and assess learning, providing a chance to review and strengthen understanding of key topics.
AED Training: The training prioritizes familiarity with typical automated external defibrillator equipment, featuring hands-on simulations, lectures, and both live and video demonstrations.
Participation in the course requires engagement, as well as successful completion of a written exam and the demonstration of various skills. The course duration varies, with Adult CPR/First Aid classes lasting around 5-6 hours.
