To qualify for our program, you must meet these requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• High School graduate or equivalent

• TB clearance and Physical Exam

• Criminal Background Check

• Royal blue scrub uniform and clean, white shoes (No Crocs)

Written exams provide documentation and measure learning, so instructors can review topics when necessary to ensure thorough training.

Professional Healthcare Educators offers a nationally approved Phlebotomy Training program designed to equip aspiring healthcare professionals with essential IV and phlebotomy skills, knowledge, and professional attitudes. This program is distinguished by its hands-on, in-person instruction with certified instructors and state registered nurses, fostering a clean, safe, and enjoyable learning environment. Recognized for its quality, the program helps healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, gain confidence and advance their careers, setting students on a path to successful entry into the phlebotomy field.

Program Details:

• Cost: The tuition fee is $1150. Additional charges apply for books, supplies, and certification, which are not included in the tuition fee.
• Duration: The program is a 60 to 90 hour class.
• Schedule: The program is delivered in-person at their locations in Honolulu and Waipahu, Hawaii, emphasizing hands-on training.
• Prerequisites: Prerequisites include a basic knowledge of anatomy & physiology, equipment knowledge, venipuncture procedures, urinalysis procedure, infection control, and blood borne pathogens.
• Accreditations: The Phlebotomy Training program at Professional Healthcare Educators is nationally approved. The school is also a Hawaii State Approved Nurse Aide Training Program and a MyCAA and PACT Approved School.
