BLS Training
The BLS Training Program that we offer at ACS Pro Training Center is a concise yet comprehensive walkthrough that would provide HCPs with the knowledge on how to use this procedure in a wide-ranging number of situations – from working as a solo rescuer or cooperating with an emergency response team, to applying BLS skills in pre-hospital or in-facility settings.
Nurse Assistant Training
Our Nurse Assistant Training Program is designed to produce reliable individuals who are honed to become significant additions to the healthcare industry. It offers an all-encompassing learning experience through various instructional methods such as lectures, simulated workplace or clinical setting, and an externship program. After completing this training program, the students will be equipped with valuable know-how’s about basic nursing and caring for the elderly and the cognitively impaired. They will also learn the basics of mental health, as well as safety and emergency procedures. As nursing assistants are on the frontlines of the healthcare community, the courses included in this program also tackle essential communication and interpersonal skills. The program is designed to prepare students to take the Certified Nurse Aide Examination given by PROMETRIC for the New York State Department of Health.
In person Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license Classes
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license program at NY Healthcare School provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to offer high-quality care to patients. The program includes classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience, allowing students to gain practical experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Upon completing the program, students are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam and begin their careers as licensed practical nurses.
In person Certified Nursing Assistant Classes
The Certified Nursing Assistant certification program at NY Healthcare School provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to become a successful nursing assistant. This program equips students with the necessary skills to assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, taking vital signs, and moving patients. Upon completion of this program, students are well-prepared to take their CNA certification exam and enter the workforce as a competent and qualified nursing assistant.
In person CPR / Basic Life Support Classes
The CPR / Basic Life Support certification program at NY Healthcare School is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond in emergency situations. The program covers topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, proper use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), airway management, and more. Upon completion, students will receive a certification card that is valid for two years.
