Our Nurse Assistant Training Program is designed to produce reliable individuals who are honed to become significant additions to the healthcare industry. It offers an all-encompassing learning experience through various instructional methods such as lectures, simulated workplace or clinical setting, and an externship program. After completing this training program, the students will be equipped with valuable know-how’s about basic nursing and caring for the elderly and the cognitively impaired. They will also learn the basics of mental health, as well as safety and emergency procedures. As nursing assistants are on the frontlines of the healthcare community, the courses included in this program also tackle essential communication and interpersonal skills. The program is designed to prepare students to take the Certified Nurse Aide Examination given by PROMETRIC for the New York State Department of Health.
