This program prepares students to provide quality care to residents in nursing care facilities. Students will learn various aspects of residents’ care, such as Body Mechanics, Assistance in Daily Living, Medical/Surgical Asepsis, and Nutrition.
Clinical Training is completed at our partner facilities - Pacific Heights Transitional Care, The Avenues Transitional Care and Linda Mar Rehabilitation Center.
Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be able to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Exam that will lead to the California Nursing Assistant Certification. The CA Certification Exam is held in our campus.
Job Assistance is provided to all students for employment in long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and agencies.
Length of Program: 2-3 months
