Nurse Aide Assistant (CNA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT)
This course prepares to to work as a Nurse Aide (CNA) and a Patient Care Technician (PCT). PCT training includes phlebotomy and EKG training. Graduates will be able to also receive a CPR certification. Students must be at least 18 years old and be able to pass a physical exam. If you don't have a high school diploma, you can take an entrance exam free of charge.
In person Hemodialysis Technician Classes
The Hemodialysis Technician certification class offered by New Age Training in New York is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for a career in the field of hemodialysis. The program covers topics such as anatomy and physiology, dialysis equipment, patient care, and safety and infection control. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the national certification exam and become a certified Hemodialysis Technician.
