The Associate in Applied Science in Nursing is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as registered nurses and to provide continued learning and career mobility in nursing for licensed practical nurses. Applicants must possess an LPN license when applying to the program. Following successful completion of the LPN to ADN program, graduates are eligible to take the license exam to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). Each class of nursing students is considered a cohort (group) and courses/schedules are assigned. Graduates of the LPN to ADN Program are qualified to enter the many BSN completion programs available.
