Our Home Health Aide (HHA) program is a meticulously designed 40-hour course that can either supplement an existing Nurse Assistant Certificate or serve as a standalone course for Certified Nurse Assistants.
The course content is designed to build on the current knowledge, skills, and abilities of nurse assistants and consists of:
20 hours of theoretical instruction.
20 hours of clinical practice.
Five key topics form the core of our curriculum:
Introduction to Aide and Agency Role
Interpretation of Medical and Social Needs of People Being Served
Personal Care Services
Nutrition
Cleaning and Care Tasks in the Home
