In our Emergency Medical Technician program, you will learn how to give CPR, administer glucose to diabetic patients, provide oxygen to those in need, and assist Paramedics with other skills. The Emergency Medical Technician program is designed to prepare the student for a career in Emergency Medicine and in preparation to meet educational level competencies according to the most current National EMS Education Standards. An EMT performs basic life-supporting skills including: patient assessment, opening airways, restoring breathing, controlling blood loss, treating victims of shock, immobilizing fractures, bandaging wounds, childbirth assistance, caring for heart attack patients, poison and burn victims, and transportation of patients. On top of experience, our professional staff has multiple Instructor certifications from CPR, ACLS, and PALS, just to name a few. Our premier training facility in Coral Springs, provides a learning environment above the rest. Our students complete their program with the knowledge that will not only provide them an opportunity to pass the national exam but the skills to take care of patients properly and professionally. EEI is approved by Career Source of Palm Beach County, Florida National Guard, Veterans Association, Local Banks and Credit Unions, and Vocational Rehabilitation.
