Students will receive hands on skills, and field time with Ventura County AMR and Gold Coast Ambulance. The program is designed to meet the needs of local ambulance providers, emergency departments, a prerequisite for local college fire academies and paramedic programs.

Upon successful completion of course and final exam, students will receive EMT-1 Course Certificate of Completion and will then qualify to take the National Registry Exam which certifies students as EMT-1 in the State of California for a period of 2 years.
