About

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a requirement for healthcare providers such as nursing students, nurses, CNA's, HHA's, LPN's, medical assistants, doctors, etc., along with most public safety professionals such as police officers, firefighters, lifeguards, daycare workers and school bus drivers. Basic Life Support (BLS) is an emergency level of medical treatment used when a victim has stopped breathing. This valuable life-saving method is used to preserve life until emergency care or an (Automated External Defibrillator) AED arrives. Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course will cover different scenarios such as breathing and cardiac emergencies – including CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and obstructed airway – for adults, children, and infants. Each class will be instructed via lecture, skills demonstration, practices, critical thinking skills, problem solving and teamwork. Upon completion of this course, students will be awarded a 2-year Basic Life Support (BLS) digital certificate. No pre-requisites or qualification required. Approved by the American Heart Association.
