Phlebotomy Technician Training

This program offers an engaging and intensive 80-hour curriculum over six weeks. It aims to fully equip students for the National Healthcare Association's Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) examination. Here are the program highlights:

  • Comprehensive preparation covering five essential domains: Safety and Compliance, Patient Preparation, Routine Blood Collections, Special Collections, and Processing.
  • In-depth education on legal issues in healthcare, medical terminology, and fundamental anatomy/physiology.
  • Hands-on training with a requirement of performing at least 30 successful venipunctures and 10 successful capillary sticks on live individuals.
  • Although not mandatory for certification, the program may provide clinical or external experience opportunities.
