Responsibilities of an EKG Technician: As an EKG technician, your role includes performing routine EKGs under the guidance of a Cardiologist, Internist, or Surgeon. Your daily tasks will involve preparing patients for testing, operating the EKG machine, and recording the standard 12-lead EKG.
