A Quality Analyst ensures that software is built according to plan and will meet the expectations of users and businesses. Throughout the software development cycle the analyst is responsible for conducting tests to ensure that quality assurance practices are applied and that software developers are able to correct problems and bring the best possible product to market. The training program covers manual and automated testing, planning and creating tests, tracking defects, and tools such as UNIX and SQL. The quality analyst (QA) is in charge of ensuring that the application is built according to the plan. The analyst is in charge of testing the applications to ensure that the application will work according to the expectation of users and businesses. The errors in the application should be found by the analyst so that software developers could work on the errors until the application works without any difficulty. The QA is also in charge of overseeing proper implementation of policy changes. This is often the most challenging for the QA since changes have to be slowly implemented and integrated without compromising the overall quality of the application being developed. These changes are also evaluated by QA if indeed these changes could improve quality. You will also be given an online account to access classroom materials with detailed, step-by-step instructions for hands-on activities in your QA training. At the end of your Software QA training, you may enroll in an optional project that will give you valuable experience in software qualification testing. Access Institute’s Software Quality Assurance Certificate program is offered at our New Jersey campus and in an online format. Access Institute’s online quality assurance courses provide the same high-level of instructor interaction and practical QA training as our on-campus courses.
