Welcome to our Patient Care Technician (PCT) Training Program! Here's a quick rundown:
As a PCT, you'll be the right-hand to doctors and other medical pros, helping to deliver therapeutic programs and monitor patients. Your technical skills will come into play, with responsibilities like carrying out blood work and EKGs.
This course prepares you to step into the role of an entry-level Nursing Technician. All you need is to have passed the Nursing Assistant Exam and be certified.
You'll be a key part of patient care: from keeping an eye on patient conditions and reporting changes, to operating therapeutic equipment, and assisting in rehabilitative therapy. You'll also be involved in hands-on tasks like changing dressings and supporting patient exams.
Once you've completed the course, you'll be ready to work in a range of settings: Nursing Homes, Home Care, Long Term Care facilities, Physical Therapy Centers, Rehabilitation Centers, and Hospitals.
