Our PCT Program adds advanced skills to your existing nursing assistant knowledge base. As part of this evolving healthcare industry, you'll master a diverse range of clinical, supportive, clerical, and lab duties, guided by healthcare professionals.
The program includes two main components:
EKG Technician Training
- The Basics: You'll learn the fundamentals of EKG recording and electrocardiography principles, along with medical terminology and law.
- Beyond Basics: Dive into major internal and external heart structures and the cardiovascular system's functions.
- Practice: Get hands-on experience with EKG interpretation and procedures on live subjects.
Phlebotomy Technician Training
- Draw Blood: Learn how to collect blood samples using venipuncture or micro techniques.
- Lab Essentials: Identify color-coded tubes, familiarize yourself with common venipuncture sites, and handle specimens accurately.
- Practice: Practice blood drawing on live subjects and simulated arms.
