APLMED's Phlebotomist training program is focused on preparing students to get certified so they can begin work as soon as possible. A phlebotomy technician is someone who draws blood from patients. Phlebotomists collect and prepare blood for diagnostic tests, donations, and blood transfusions.
You'll need to obtain a High School Diploma or GED or complete an 8th Grade test. You must be able to pass a criminal background check. You'll also need to provide a copy of your Social Security card and one of your state-issued IDs (e.g., state ID, driver's license, American passport).
