The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College - Main campus equips students with the essential skills and knowledge to provide critical pre-hospital care in emergency situations. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on training, students learn patient assessment, airway management, trauma care, and medical emergency management. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam and become certified EMTs ready to serve their communities.
