Waldorf’s Associate of Arts in Human Resource Management degree is designed around key competencies identified by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The program includes a foundational course in human resource management, supplemented by four additional courses that cover various SHRM competencies. This structure allows students to develop a well-rounded understanding of managing people and talent.
Option to Pursue a Bachelor’s Degree
For students planning to pursue further education, the associate degree program prepares them for entry into Waldorf’s bachelor’s degree programs with upper division standing. The coursework also fulfills the requirements for the Human Resource Management concentration within Waldorf’s Bachelor of Science program in Business Administration.
Completing the Associate of Arts program typically takes two years with full-time enrollment.
