Wake Technical Community College, also called Wake Tech, offers a Nurse Aide I program that is 168 hours long (100 hours theory and lab, 8 hours theory final exam, 4 hours orientation for clinical, 48 hours of clinicals, and 8 hours mock exam to practice for the skills test). The CNA program they offer is a non-degree program so unfortunately the credits aren’t transferrable and they don’t offer financial aid for students who take this class. There are Spanish and hybrid class options.
