University of Alaska Anchorage’s School of Allied Health is based in Anchorage, Alaska, and is part of a comprehensive, open-access public institution. Its occupational fields include nursing, radiologic technology, surgical technology, diagnostic medical sonography, Certified Nursing Assistant, and dental assisting, among others. UAA offers more than 150 academic certificate and degree programs, ranging from short-term workforce credentials to graduate programs. The university also provides student-focused support services and has a role in preparing people for work and further education in Alaska and beyond.
