Top Knowledge Healthcare Institute’s PHLEBOTOMY CERTIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM & CLASSES is offered in Rockville, Maryland. The program trains students to collect and process blood samples for laboratory analysis through anatomy and physiology, blood collection equipment, venipuncture, capillary puncture, and related legal and ethical topics. It prepares graduates to become nationally certified as a Phlebotomy Technician through National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Training includes theory, laboratory instruction, live blood draws, and a clinical externship at a clinical laboratory. Morning classes meet on weekdays, while a weekend option is also available; each format includes a one-week weekday clinical component.
