The Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) certification program at TIA School of Allied Health is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate EKG machines and read EKG tracings. The program covers topics such as anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, normal and abnormal heart rhythms, and proper EKG placement and maintenance. The program also includes hands-on training in a clinical setting to ensure students are fully prepared to enter the workforce as competent EKG technicians.
