This program prepares you to take the National Health Career Association, EKG Technician certification exam and provides students with opportunity to gain advanced training and skills to further their healthcare career. Successful completion of the required components and passing and acquiring the EKG Technician Certification will enable students to apply for employment where EKG Technician training and certification is required or encouraged.

The Training Center of NW Georgia, Inc. is a healthcare training institution in Cartersville, Georgia. Its occupational offerings include Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG), AHA Heart Saver CPR/AED and First Aid, and BLS – Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (CPR). The center opened in 2013 to provide training responsive to the needs of the Northwest Georgia community. Its educational goals emphasize quality medical instruction, practical preparation for healthcare work, and support for mastering course material and skills. Training options are designed to accommodate class time, homework, and project assignments, with instruction focused on caring and dedicated patient care. The center also provides CPR, First Aid, and BLS classes at its location and can provide those classes at a company or other requested location for qualifying groups.
