National Training, Inc. is now offering a CDL Class A Modified program for those looking to enter the hot shot trucking industry. You’ll learn what you need to know to operate any vehicle requiring a Class A Modified CDL license, and get plenty of driving practice at our 350-acre custom-built training grounds. You’ll learn in our classrooms the knowledge you’ll need to pass your Class A Modified Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) exam and qualify for a hot shot truck driving career. Our CDL Class A Modified program is completed at the school’s training grounds. It consists of classroom, computer lab, simulator, driving range and 'over-the-road' instruction with the student owned equipment. The student is taught driver techniques, defensive driving, Department of Transportation regulations, log-book procedures, and other related subjects. The student also participates in practice driving on a specially prepared driving range on our training grounds and operates your truck and your Trailer with a combined GVW 26,001 lbs. on local area highways and city streets over selected routes.

Our Program consists of the two parts Lecture and lab Lecture. 5 hour lecture in class before the hand-on skills portion of the lab arm. 8 hour lecture in class before the hands-on skills portion for live draws. To become a phlebotomist, you will need a high school education or GED - no college experience is required. In a phlebotomy class, you will learn how to safely draw, store, and transport blood samples. Some of your training may include: Anatomy, First-aid, Lab safety, Labeling, Medical terminology. You'll learn how to handle blood in a safe and sanitary way to prevent the spread of disease, and you may also learn about processing blood samples with equipment such as a centrifuge. National Training’s Hazardous Materials Course will teach you everything you need to know to pass the written test to add a Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) endorsement (H) to your CDL. A HAZMAT endorsement is required for all commercial motor vehicles transporting certain types or quantities of hazardous materials such as explosives, various types of gas, flammable and combustible liquids, etc. Transporting hazardous materials can be risky, so regulations are put in place to protect you, those around you, and the environment. The Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) require training and testing for all drivers involved in transporting hazardous materials at least once every three years.
Drivers who wish to drive a vehicle having a design capacity to carry 16 or more people, including the driver, must add a passenger endorsement (P) to their CDL/CLP. They must pass a special knowledge examination on safety considerations when transporting passengers and must pass skills tests in a passenger vehicle. The endorsement applies to applicants who wish to drive a bus in any class (A, B, or C).
National Training, Inc. offers a five day 40 hour CDL training program to refresh experienced drivers on what they need to know to go back to work. The CDL Refresher Program is designed for individuals that hold a current Class A, B, or C CDL license and want to refresh their skills. This convenient program offers customized CDL training to bring current and former truck drivers “up to speed” on various aspects of the profession. This includes hands-on driving time behind the wheel of a semi tractor-trailer. Experienced truck drivers, who have left the field and are now returning to it, may want to take advantage of this course. They may need to refresh their skills or knowledge before they apply for a job with a trucking firm.
This course presents the student with an introductory overview related to the anatomy and physiology of the heart. It also explores normal electrical conduction as well as common variations as evidenced by changes in the waveform on the cardiac monitoring device. The course will also focus on the student’s ability to perform cardiac monitoring via 3, 5 and 12 lead monitoring devices.
EKG Technician Program This EKG Technician Program prepares students to perform EKG’s. This course will include information on anatomy and physiology of the heart, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, legal aspects of patient contact, electrocardiography, and stress testing.
