The mission of the Office Technology Certificate program is to prepare students for administrative careers that require a solid foundation in information technology such as business application specialist, keyboard specialist, social media manager, graphic design application specialist, web content editor, through the use of innovative teaching methods, diverse modes of instruction, flexibility of course selections, and the inclusion of 21st century workplace skills. The Office Technology program allows students to combine core office technology skills with business or additional computing skills. It prepares students for careers as administrative assistants, secretaries, computer application specialists or program coordinators, or for civil service office positions.
