Southwestern Community College (SCC), situated in Sylva, North Carolina, has a rich history since its inception in 1964 as the Jackson County Industrial Education Center. Over the years, it has grown from offering a limited selection of vocational programs to providing over 90 diverse credential options spanning Arts & Sciences, Career Technologies, and Health Sciences.
