This is a 4-week phlebotomy course that provides the experienced student with additional skills and training in order to succeed in the healthcare field as a phlebotomist or other healthcare professional. This course is intended to compliment the student's current medical training and/or experience. This course contains lecture, discussion, and practical instruction. The student must demonstrate proficient phlebotomy skills and knowledge equivalent to the Phlebotomy program but in a shorter timeframe. This class is intended for students with prior medical training, related education, or clinical experience. Call our office at 803-720-5588 to see if you are eligible. South Carolina School of Phlebotomy is a career-training institution in Fort Mill, South Carolina. It prepares students for work in phlebotomy, clinical laboratory assisting, clinical medical assisting, EKG Technician training, and related healthcare fields. The school offers five specialized programs along with workshops focused on advanced wound care, advanced phlebotomy techniques, IV infusion, paramedical examination, and clinical skills. Its curriculum is developed by healthcare professionals, a Medical Doctor, and educational experts. The Phlebotomy program includes externship opportunities through partnerships with clinical laboratories and hospitals. The Clinical Medical Assisting program prepares students for certification, while the broader course selection supports entry into several patient-care and diagnostic roles. Instruction combines classroom study with practical skill development in selected offerings.
