The Nurse Aide I Training Program will provide the resources and enhanced learning opportunities for the students to develop appropriate nurse aide skills. This will be accomplished through structured, comprehensive, supervised classroom, lab, and clinical experiences. Students will learn the skills to become a NA I in North Carolina. Training will be provided on basic nursing skills, personal care skills, and interpersonal skills. Students will learn how to provide patient care in a variety of setting such as: Assistant Living, Rehabilitation, In-home, Hospitals, Hospice, and Long-term care facility.
