  • Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age or older prior to program registration; Graduate of a recognized or accredited secondary school (high school diploma or equivalent); Physical exam within the last 12 months; Proof of current vaccines, active titers, and negative two-step TB test results; Completion of HLT-110 with a grade of C or higher or consent of the Phlebotomy Coordinator.
  • Accreditations: Meets American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) education requirements. The college is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The program is associated with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Prepares students for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
