The Rochester EOC Barbering program will expose individuals to all aspects of barbering through 580 hours of lecture, practice demonstration, computer-based instruction, practical and theory worksheets with illustrations and client work. The Barbering instruction is delivered by Masters Barbers who are also business owners. Their diverse presentation provides a broad learning experience with updated application in the profession of barbering. Upon completion of a seven-month curriculum, students will receive a Barber HIV Certificate of Completion and will be well-prepared to take the New York State Board Examination to be licensed as a Master Barber.
